If you want to be victorious in selling un-used goods at car boot sales, you need to understand a few simple facts. I know this from my years of experience from selling apparel at car boot sales.

1. DO NOT trust the adverts, contact to the organisers and clarify what time the car boot sale begins.

2. Have your car ready and packed the previous day, and get to the venue EARLY. Even if that means that you would need to get up around 5am. The fact is that most real buyers will be there the second it opens.

3. Don’t forget to pack breakfast/lunch for yourself.

4. You need to get a wholesale stock or a surplus stock of clothes. To have low prices at your stall, you need to get this stock at a cheap cost. Normally there is only used clothes on hand at car boot sales, but customers will be attracted to new clothing IF the prices are low. Look for wholesalers in online wholesale directories, call/email the companies and ask for great deals for getting surplus stock or wholesale stock cheaply.
