Our skin protects us and it’s important to treat it well. Sometimes the skin gets inflamed due to dermatitis, allergies or red ant bites. When this happens, you need to remember to try to hydrate it internally and externally. Drink water and use a good moisturizer on the skin.  Try to avoid dryness. There are some nutritional supplements that can help the skin. Natural and Traditional Treatments vary and some are comfortable with one versus the other.

For instance, taking acidopholous helps digestion and this in turn helps the skin. It give us good bacteria. Do you take a multivitamin? That is important , especially if you eat on the run and not well. Vitamin A is excellent for the skin. Vitamin E is an antioxidant that will nourish it. Flax seed oil is reported to give us the missing omega 3 oils we often lack. Try to also cut back on sugar, sodas and high fatty content foods but instead eat foods that will help your body restore itself. You can also apply coconut oil to the skin .

Rest is important and not pushing yourself. Sometimes the skin is inflamed due to an underlying infection. So check for this if it doesn’t seem to resolve itself. Use stress reduction techniques to keep your sleep regular and control mood swings.
